Deanna Hinkle, Architect / Principal
CA lic. C- / OH lic. O

A double-major in Architecture and Italian, as well as Master of Architecture at The Ohio State University (2002-2009). After working for MS Consultants amd SHP in Ohio, she traveled west to follow the job-market and sunshine to work for Kovac Design Studio for nearly three years. A brief stint at TBA architects putting up QSR and TPBS, led her to believe her true passion was working for herself.

Dave Nedrow, Architect / Principal

Upon graduating with a major in Architecture and minor in Art History, at University of Nevada, Las Vegas (Pho Kappa Kai recipeint), working with assemblage Studio in Las Vegas. Then pursuing a Master of Architecture at The Ohio State University (Pho Kappa Kai recpient) also Kovac Design Studio. A few years with Michael Hennessey Architecture in San Francisco, and six years with PGAL working on Terminal 1 and 1.5 as Project Architect at LAX.

The name Wonderlink is an appropriate representation of the firm, as it’s meaning is complex and varied.

It simultaneously comes from a collection of words - Wonder and Link. To wonder is to think or speculate curiously. A link serves to connect one part with another. For Architecture, this combination of meaning is apparent. We aim to be the link with our collaborators to bring a sense of wonder into their lives and their projects. We think and speculate about the world with abundant curiousity, and imbue these thoughts into space & form, crafting responses to program, site, and environment.

The name is also an anagram of our founders: Deanna and Dave. Hinkle and Nedrow. Link (eh) and Wonder.

We consider our workplace a workshop, a place in which a group of people learn the methods and skills used in crafting meaningful architecture. We consider ourselves a studio, a space where artists work.

Wonderlink Architecture was founded in Los Angeles in 2018 by partners Deanna Hinkle and Dave Nedrow. We work to provide meaningful solutions for our client programs. We value all our design collaborator and trade partners to assemble and craft projects.
